Caraway 1 lb Loaf Pan Review – Non-Stick Ceramic & Easy Release

I’ve been using the Caraway Non-Stick Ceramic 1 lb Loaf Pan regularly for bread and banana bread, and the biggest thing that stands out is how easily baked bread releases from the ceramic surface.

Quick Verdict

The Caraway loaf pan has become one of our regular baking pans. Its ceramic non-stick surface releases bread extremely well, and we don’t need to use oil or non-stick cooking spray before baking. It is a little smaller than some loaf pans we’ve owned, but it still makes a nice loaf of bread.

Non-Stick Performance

This is where the pan has impressed me most. We use it all the time for bread, and after letting the loaf cool for a few minutes, we can turn the pan upside down and the bread drops right out.

We also don’t use oil or non-stick spray with it. That makes the whole process simpler and is one of the main reasons we’ve continued using this pan.

Ceramic Construction

The Caraway pan uses a ceramic cooking surface and is marketed as PTFE- and PFOA-free. That was one of the reasons the pan appealed to us in the first place, especially since we already use other Caraway products.

Size and Dimensions

The pan measures approximately 8.5 inches long × 4.5 inches wide × 2.5 inches deep.

It does feel slightly smaller than some traditional loaf pans we’ve used, but in practice it still makes a very nice loaf of bread.

Design and Color

Our pan is the sage color. Caraway offers colors designed to coordinate with the rest of its cookware line, so it can match other Caraway pieces you may already have in the kitchen.

What I Like

  • Excellent bread release
  • No oil or non-stick spray needed in our use
  • Ceramic cooking surface
  • Compact 1 lb loaf size
  • Attractive design and color options
  • Matches other Caraway cookware

Things to Consider

The biggest consideration is size. This pan is a little smaller than some other bread pans we’ve owned, so check the dimensions if you normally bake larger loaves.

Final Thoughts

We love this pan and use it regularly. The easy release is the standout feature for me: after the bread cools, it comes out cleanly without needing to grease the pan first. If you’re looking for a smaller ceramic loaf pan and like the Caraway product line, this one is worth a look.
