Quiet Operation for Nighttime Ambiance

In this review, I share my experience installing and using the R.W.FLAME electric fireplace in a recessed wall setup.

Installation Process

We decided to mount it recessed, so we had to build out a bit of a box frame for it and then drywall it all in and paint it and get it prepped to put this in.

Installation was really, really simple. It actually took longer to build out the wall space than it did to actually install this fireplace.

  • Only took 2 screws to mount this, one on each side, about 3/4 of the way up.
  • The front glass just kind of connected with the wire and then slid into place.

Remote Control Features

All the changes to the settings can be done through this remote control.

The remote does all the functionality you need.

  • Power buttons to turn it on and off.
  • Dimmer to change the brightness (5 settings).
  • Speed of the flame (5 settings).
  • Heat settings (low 750W, high 1500W).
  • Buttons to change the color of the flame and the bed.

Quiet Operation

Pretty quiet. You really don't hear it. All you kind of hear is the fan and it's, and it's pretty quiet.

We use it almost every single night. We don't necessarily use the heat, but the, the nice little ambience and kind of like a nightlight almost.

Who this is for

If seeking a quiet ambiance for nighttime use, the R.W.FLAME electric fireplace delivers subtle background lighting without disruptive noise.
